Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore Survival Cheat
Have you been having trouble beating the Survival Mode. Fret no more! Try this, Select Survival mode from the Main menu. Once the Level has loaded and the fight has started press the eject on your PS2. The tray will slide out, but the fight will continue. Once you have “KOed” your opponent you can continue to beat him/her mercilessly. The PS2 cannot load the next opponent because you have ejected the disc. Do your ariel attack (UP + PUNCH + KICK). Every time you do this attack you will be rewarded with a bonus item. Continue to do this as long as you like. If you notice the picture below I was able to score over 1 million points with only one win. Once you have had enough of that particulay “opponent” you can simply push the disc tray back in to the PS2 and after about 10 seconds the music will start again the next opponent will appear. You can repeat this trick as many times as you need to. Survival mode should be no problem now.

Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore Survival Mode Technique
Notice the PS2’s tray is open with the disc still in it. Once you are done with that character you can push the tray back in to continue the survival mode.

Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore Play as Bayman
Successfully complete the story mode with every character in the game on easy. You will be able to select Bayman on every mode of play except for Story Mode.

Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore Full Credits
Complete the story mode with all of the characters with the game on Very Hard.

Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore Change Kasumi’s Hair Styles
When you select Kasumi use the Circle button to select her with a Braided Ponytail. Use the X button when you select her to have her fight in a loose Ponytail.

Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore Change Helena’s Hair Style
When you select Helena use the Circle button to have her fight with a long Ponytail. Or use the X button to select her, her Ponytail will be about 1/3 shorter.

Gladius Hint: Points Battle Tip
Here’s an easy way to beat those Points Battles. After you get the Undead Summoner at your school (in Nordagh), take him into every Points Battles match. While in the match, use his Death for Life ability and summon a skeleton. Once the skeleton is out, use the Undead Summoner’s Life Steal ability on the skeleton that he has just summoned. Repeat this as much as possible and use the rest of your party for normal attacking. This not only keeps one person out of harm’s way, but it also lets you build a good amount of points for your school without having to travel too far.

Gladius Hint: Ship Captain
After arriving back in Imperia for the games in Caltha, there will be a Ship Captain located on the beaches. You can pay him a fee and he will take you back to the previous regions you have visited. This is the only way to return to these regions and complete any games that you did not earlier in the game. He appears at random times, so enter and exit Trikata until you see him. The fees are 20,000D for Nordagh, 20,000D for Steppes, and 15,000D for Expanse.

Gladius Hint: Easy Way To Win Battles
If you are in a battle and you are in an enclosed area, there is an easy way to win. If there is an opening with only one way to get to a location, put three guys in a trifecta that is not blocking one space for your enemies to stand.

Put two heavy gladiators horizontally and one light vertically. Make sure the light gladiator has the move “Sand Toss”. When an enemy comes to attack, use sand toss and then attack with the other gladiators.

Gladius Hint: Dirty Money
If you are short of money but have enough to hire a new gladiator permanently you can then strip him of shield armor and helmet, sell the equipment for big money and expel the unwanted gladiator. You can’t have their weapon unless you give them something, less useful, first.
